I drove down to Assumption Parish today to assist with some work in the field. It was hot, but the views around Lake Verret were really nice. Lunch at Stella’s Kitchen was great, and to top it all off, I met Troy Landry—never knew he was familiar with Val’s Marina. #SwampPeople
We had a great Shelter Task Force meeting today. I reported on a few final WebEOC Shelter Manager updates. We use it to monitor live shelter data as well as store shelter site surveys and other planning details.
I created my first two GIS dashboards for GOHSEP this week. One pulls and filters AHPS river gauge data, and the other tracks and displays aerial photos of flooded areas that are provided to us by the Civil Air Patrol. #ArcGIS
