This spring, the library entered a national contest with over 1,600 “For Dummies” books as the grand prize. At the time, I was still trying to figure out what ridiculously obvious book character to dress up as for National Library Week. After talking with Mrs. Louise one day, I realized I could dress up as the Dummy Guy from the “For Dummies” books and maybe kill two birds with one stone. Not only did I dress up as the Dummy Guy, I made a short video<\/a> to try to help the library in the contest.<\/p>\n

In the end, it was too little, too late, but I did get some experience in video editing and refreshed my flash animation abilities, both of which can likely help me in the future.
